How we handle information across the Siteful website and application.

Last updated

Information we collect

Siteful is operated from the United States. When you create an account or contact us, we collect the details you provide, including your name, email, company, role and messages. We record acceptance of our terms, including the version, timestamp, IP address and browser information.

The application stores your saved profiles, searches, comparisons and preferences. Technical records may include IP addresses, browser and device information, requests, errors and referral or campaign details.

Billing information

Stripe collects and processes payment details. Siteful stores billing identifiers, subscription status, billing periods and invoice references to manage access and support. Full card numbers and security codes are handled by Stripe, not stored in Siteful’s application database.

Stripe’s handling of personal information is described in its Privacy Policy.

Market profiles

Siteful processes professional and property-market information to provide agency, agent and suburb profiles, metrics and reports. This may include names, business affiliations, business locations and sales activity, including information about people who do not hold a Siteful account.

Use our contact form to request a correction or raise a concern about information associated with you.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate accounts, save research, process subscriptions, respond to enquiries, correct records, investigate errors and understand service usage. We also retain records needed for accounting, dispute resolution and legal obligations.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies and browser storage to maintain sign-in sessions, remember preferences and retain application state. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out or prevent some features from working. Our infrastructure and payment providers may also use technical identifiers for security and fraud prevention.

Service providers and overseas processing

We share information as needed with providers of hosting, databases, authentication, payments, maps, email delivery and security. These include Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Mapbox and Resend. Providers process information to deliver their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy notices.

Information may be stored or accessed outside your country, including in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and investigate misuse.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet accounting, security and legal requirements. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. Some records may need to be retained after an account deletion request, including billing and acceptance records.

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.

Your requests and complaints

To request access, correction or deletion, or to make a privacy complaint, use the Siteful contact form. Identify the account or profile concerned. We may need to verify your identity before responding; do not send passwords or full card details.

We will assess requests under applicable law and explain any limits on what we can provide or delete. If a concern remains unresolved, you may contact the relevant privacy authority, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where it has jurisdiction.

Policy updates

We update this policy when our information practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
